Actually, it's supposed to be really nice in Rwanda at this time of year and simply anyone who is anyone, vists there. The refugees will absolutely love it. It's practically 'home from home.'

To Where? Rwanda? Really?
This is surely a massive wind-up,
But it seems that Dear Leader has sanctioned it,
And all his toadies have signed up.
Many consider this strategy
Was conceived in the depths of hell,
And it’s easy to spot the sinister hand,
Of the ruthless Priti Patel.
She’d identified Rwanda
As an ideal place to be,
If you are a poor, downtrodden,
Homeless refugee.
It’s a forward-looking country,
Free of ethnic tension,
No civil wars, no genocide
No political dissention.
Oh – and that insignificant business,
Back in the nineties, which …
Involved the Tutsis and Hutus,
Was merely a minor glitch.
And fulsome praise has now been heaped
On this controversial plan,
By the selfless, compassionate J. Rees Mogg,
A very worthy man.
As defender of this insane scheme,
He’s sought to seek attention,
By likening it to the holy, Easter
Story of Redemption.
So, it’s off to Central Africa,
For the hapless refugee,
It’s either that, or Priti Patel
Will cast him back in the sea.
